Environment and Natural Resources

Mission: To provide support to the citizens, community groups, and local officials of Passaic County on water resource and environmental issues.

Rutgers Cooperative Extension's Environmental and Resource Management program was created to provide technical expertise in environmental issues at the local level. Initially, the focus of outreach and education efforts will be water resource issues such as: storm water management, water conservation, protection of local waterways, and low impact development.

The Environmental and Resource Management Agent provides support through education, research, and outreach.

Awards: Molly Ann Brook Watershed Management Plan - Award from the American Planning Association - New Jersey Chapter in the Plan Implementation category (2011)
