Passaic County 4-H Fair Materials

Passaic County 4-H invites all community members, of any age, to participate in the county Summer Harvest Showcase! 

The showcase will take place in the Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE) Tent during the Passaic County Fair, August 13th to 16th, 2026. Judging for the showcase will happen on the first day of the fair, Thursday, August 13th. A detailed showcase entry guide can be found below.  All projects will be showcased and awarded based on the Danish judging system. Cash prizes are awarded for Best in Division, sponsored by the Passaic County 4-H Leaders Association. Each submission will receive a participation ribbon and judges’ notes.

Community members can submit projects in 4 divisions: 140. Food & Nutrition, 150. Fruits, Vegetables & Herbs, 160. Cut Flowers, and 165. Potted Plants. Entries for these divisions can be brought to the RCE office on Wednesday, August 12 from 4-7 pm or directly to the Passaic County Fair RCE/4-H tent on August 13th.  All Passaic County gardeners are encouraged to submit projects!

For 4-H Members:

All 4-H members are encouraged to submit projects and artwork to be showcased at the Passaic County Fair in the 4-H/ Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE) Tent during the Passaic County Fair, August 13^th to 16^th, 2026. A detailed fair submission book can be found below.  All projects will be showcased and awarded based on the Danish judging system. Cash prizes are awarded for Best in Division, sponsored by the Passaic County 4-H Leaders Association. Each submission will receive a participation ribbon and judges’ notes.

Projects should be brought to the 4-H office by August 7, 2026 unless otherwise stated in the Fair Exhibit Entry Guide.
